There’s no doubt that if your favorite season is fall, it’s in no small part due to the popular flavor combinations the season brings. Just because the holidays are approaching doesn’t mean you need to put away these sweet and savory eats so soon! We know we’d be #Thankful if these we menued all year round.

Pumpkin pie may have met its match. This Thanksgiving season, Hershey released the largest Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup ever made, coming in at a whopping 9 inches long and weighing 3.25 pounds in solid chocolate and peanut butter — dubbed the Reese’s Thanksgiving Pie. Although this incredibly indulgent treat sold out within hours, you can visit Reese’s shop to find other items to “treat yo self” or eagerly await the next Thanksgiving Pie release. Or the rerelease. Or the rererelease.

Fast food chains are always trying to capture consumers’ attention with fun promotional items and merchandise. Arby’s took it to the next level to promote their new crinkle fries by introducing two limited-edition vodkas: Curly Fry Vodka and Crinkle Fry Vodka. They even partnered with a celebrity chef to provide two drink recipes that pair with select Arby’s menu items. The next time you order a vodka soda, you could say, “I’m thinkin’ Arbys.”

Are pop culture cookbooks worth the hype? We say yes. Marrying our obsession with pop culture and love of food is a win-win. These cookbooks come with a built-in cult following. They’re an entertaining way to find delicious recipes and kitchen inspirations. Some of our favorites include From Crook to Cook (from the D-O-Double-G), A Feast of Ice & Fire (inspired by Game of Thrones), and Tastes Like Schitt (go watch Schitt’s Creek, again). Could be a great gift this holiday season for the friend who is still living off ramen noodles for dinner.

The only thing that the Just for Kicks crew loves more than food — free food. So, you know we keep an eye out for loyalty rewards programs — the gift that keeps on giving. Whether we’re racking up points with repeat visits (“Do it for the points!”) or receiving free treats that encourage us to come back for more, rewards programs always hit home with us. They successfully manage to build strong brand loyalty and outstanding customer experiences. Especially from those brands that do it right, such as Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A, and Domino’s Pizza.
