To celebrate the season, the Just for Kicks crew dressed in our best ugly sweaters and hit the streets of Wrigleyville in downtown Chicago to take in the holiday spirit — where almost every bar was transformed into a festive holiday hangout.

Lucy (voiceover):

We started our journey at the pop-up bar Santa Baby, which featured decorated lounges and terrific spacing. There were plenty of beautiful backdrops for photos and a menu fit for Santa himself! As for themed drinks and an order of spirted red and green sliders — we said yes, please!

Karolina (voiceover):

Next, we went to one of the oldest pop-up bars in Wrigley, the Christmas Club. The atmosphere was friendly and lighthearted, embracing more traditional decorations and killing it with their spiked hot chocolate and coffee drinks!

Lucy (voiceover):

Then, we pulled up into the Hanukkah-themed bar, 8 Crazy Nights. The place was sparkling in blue and white lights, from head to toe. To complete our experience here, we had to order some latkas before we could leave!

Travis (voiceover):

Rudolph’s, a sister pop-up bar to Santa Baby, was just as decked-the-halls out and lit with holiday spirit. Featuring parachuting Santas dropping from the ceiling and more ornaments than you could count.

Karolina (voiceover):

A trip to into the city during the season isn’t quite complete without stopping by a Christkindle Market, so we stopped by one just outside Wrigley Field. German-themed ornaments and traditional decorations, with some mulled wine and ice skating will warm any Grinch’s heart!

Lucy (voiceover):

We ended the night at Santa’s Workshop, filled with Christmas magic. To fest like the best, the bars of Wrigleyville spared no expense. From elaborate decorations to jolly drinks and foods, the holiday spirit was definitely in the air. We loved every moment of it. Cheers to the New Year and more, from our crew to yours.
