Project Manager

Esrock is searching for an experienced project manager to add to our growing team. The primary role of a project manager is to efficiently coordinate the movement of project activities through the agency, ensuring that projects are completed on time, on budget, and meet client expectations. In addition to the primary function, there are several other areas of responsibility that a project manager needs to be comfortable with.

 

Project management: Demonstrates superior knowledge and understanding of agency, creative, production, and vendor process, including which roles are involved in the different phases of a project. Ability to be extremely organized, detailed, and have an analytical, yet creative mindset.

 

Relationships: Ability to build ongoing client and agency relationships, acting as a conscientious partner for process, financial and logistical discussions. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Expertise: Ability to keep apprised of clients’ brands, products, services, and marketing developments in order to recommend valuable process and budgeting adjustments. Maintains working knowledge of pertinent software and tools needed to complete work.

 

Problem-solving: Ability to be a creative problem solver, adept at anticipating problems, recognizing opportunities, and thinking logically while maximizing efficiencies via multitasking.

 

Time management: Ability to efficiently work on multiple projects and initiatives at the same time while maintaining a superior level of organization and service.

 

Resource management: Ability to manage agency human capital, working diligently to collaborate with team leads, continuously updating schedules, and adjusting team and individual workloads to ensure client projects are delivered on time and on budget.

 

Data management: Ability to maintain an accurate and detailed data record of all aspects of a project’s journey through all phases through project completion. Ensures a regular cadence of reporting for client project and financial status.

 

Vendor management: Ability to identify production details and subsequently solicit and negotiate estimates and secure services from vendor partners.

 

Mentor: Ability to provide thoughtful direction and advice to more inexperienced or junior project managers/coordinators while not taking over ownership.
