Account Manager

Esrock is searching for an experienced B2B account manager to add to our growing team. The primary role of an account manager is to maintain the relationship, expectations and growth of each assigned account, serving as the day-to-day liaison to ensure client satisfaction. In addition to the primary function, there are several other areas of responsibility that account managers need to be comfortable with.

 

Account management: Ability to manage the day-to-day communications and account management efforts including marketing consultation and planning, account maintenance and growth, meeting defined goals, protecting the clients’ brands, maintaining their brand standards, and delivering the highest quality strategic and creative agency services.

 

Relationships: Ensures client relations are positive and stable, collaborating and communicating regularly to ensure their goals, wants and needs are met. Educates clients on agency philosophy and processes and sets the tone of the partnership.

 

Collaborator: Ability to contribute and work closely with other members of the client and agency teams to successfully deliver services. Regularly communicates client’s short and long-term goals, and general information and document-sharing with agency team leads.

 

Presenting and selling: Ability to prepare winning presentations that display strong communication skills, and to present, guide, and defend the agency ideas and work. Know where the opportunities are, actively providing new solutions and ideas for additional new business from clients.

 

Data management: Ensures that clients and the agency are aligned on key performance metrics, establishing realistic business goals, providing accountability through reporting and analytics, and providing optimized strategies moving forward.

 

Time management: Ability to efficiently work on many projects and initiatives at the same time while maintaining a superior level of organization and service.

 

Project management: Partners with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on strategy, on time and within budget, and to forecast team traffic and project influxes. Remains knowledgeable at all times about the status of all aspects of each project for assigned accounts.

 

Financial management: Ability to manage client projections, budgets, retainers, responsible for developing proposals, estimates, scopes of work, change orders, and final invoicing for assigned accounts.

 

Relevant curator: Ability to understand and speak in an educated way about current trends in marketing, industry and digital technologies, and how it might be applied to our client’s work.

 

Expertise: Demonstrates a thorough understanding of each account, their business, brands, products, services, industry and competitive landscape.
